The Sun is a quaint public house offering excellent social and corporate   facilities to customers and businesses throughout the local area.               The pub is located on Sun Street in the historic town of Waltham Abbey  where there is no shortage of places to dine and socialize. Mark and Kerry King acquired the pub in August 2006 and has since gained a high reputation for offering a warm and inviting environment to eat and drink. The Sun also offers a well equipped function room that has its own private  bar which is available to hire for private parties as well as corporate/business lunches, meetings and training programs. Free WIFI is available throughout the premises. The Sun offers a fantastic lunchtime home cooked menu and is renowned for its traditional Sunday roast dinners, and has also received a cask marque for its excellent variety and quality of real ales. We have an expanding network of customers located in and around Waltham Abbey. We provide every thing from senior citizen's special meal deals, to business seminars to our lively cocktail evenings, there really is some thing for everybody here. Our beautiful relaxing beer garden is extremely popular throughout the summer months for alfresco dining and equally as popular during the winter months because of our large sheltered and heated decking area. We also have a warm and comfortable designated smoking area for those that smoke! We are very proud to announce that our garden has won The Flowers in Bloom competition which is run by our local council! SO COME TO THE SUN AND JOIN IN THE FUN!!!
